How to send, request and cancel feedback requests in Elofy?

In this article, you will learn how to send, request and cancel a Feedback request to someone, step by step.

Submitting feedbacks is an important tool for brainstorming with your colleagues and

improving performance within the workplace.

In addition, whenever you want to have some advice or hear your co-worker's opinion, you can request feedback. Click on one of the options below to go straight to what you want to read:

How to send feedback?

Step 01

On the profile page, click on the "+" button and select Feedback:

In the new window, select the action you want to perform. To submit, click on Send

Feedback:

Step 03

Fill in the boxes with the information as shown below:

  1. Choose the feedback recipient. You can select as many people as you want, but remember that each user will receive individual feedback, so they will not know who also received the feedback;

  2. Choose the type of feedback you want: Recognition, Guidance, or another questionnaire that has been registered by the company;

    • Feedback of recognition, in other words, when you want to recognize some positive attitude that that employee recently performed, motivating them to continue and give their best in the company;

    • Orientation feedback, in other words, when you want to guide the employee so that they do not perform a particular attitude or improve in some way, leading them to better results.

    • When choosing a template created by your company, you do not need to fill in all the fields. You only need to answer at least one field and send the feedback. Upon receipt, the user will only see the field filled in by you, as shown in the image below:

  3. Write the feedback (use the text box to make it more complete);

  4. If you want, attach your organization's values related to the feedback you sent.

    • This step is only available if your company registers values in the platform. Also, you can determine how many values the users can choose to send feedbacks. To learn more about it, click here.

    • The choice of values is only available for the feedback-sending stage, of the recognition and orientation types.

Step 04

To finish, click Send Feedback.

How to request feedback?

Here you will learn step-by-step how to request feedback from someone.

Step 01

On your profile screen, click on ‘+’ and select Feedback:

In the new window, click on Request Feedback:

Fill in the boxes as follows:

  1. Choose the individuals who will receive your feedback request. You can select as many people as you want, but keep in mind that each user will receive feedback individually, so they will not know who also received the feedback request;

  2. Choose the feedback type you want: Recognition/Orientation or another type of questionnaire registered by the company;

  3. Enter text explaining your feedback request, you can use the text options to make the explanation better;

  4. Fill in the deadline for reply.

Step 04

To finish, click Request Feedback:

How to cancel a Feedback request?

It is only possible to cancel Feedback requests when they have not yet been answered by the requested user.

Step 01

To cancel the submission of a feedback request, you have to first locate the intended

feedback on your query screen. You can also filter by the type "I requested" to make

it easier.

Step 02

When you find the intended feedback request, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the card.

Step 03

Clicking on it will open the "Cancel request" option. Click to open the confirmation pop-up.

Step 04

Confirm the cancellation action.

Important note on Feedbacks

After sending feedback or requesting a feedback, you can no longer edit the text or delete it, you can only cancel requests when the user has not yet responded, as explained above.
