This article is intended for administrators. If you want to understand more about access profiles, click here.
In Elofy, the user will only have access to their own information, however, it is possible to personalize this experience. Even if the user is defined as an administrator, within the platform, they will not have access to the entire company's information, except if this feature is assigned to them, as seen above. Similarly, it is possible to enable this feature, as well as access to other teams' information for other users.
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to use this feature:
Step 01
To customize the accesses, go to Settings > Users.
Step 02
On the Users screen, click on the highlighted icon to edit the user.
Step 03
On the user creation page, you can access the different permissions that allow you to customize the distribution of information to the user:
Accessible teams: In this field, you can define which teams the created user will have access to, in addition to their own. In this direction, it is almost as if you were giving the team responsibility to more than one person.
Team hierarchy: If your company has a 'Mother Team' with 'Child teams' ( if you want to know how to create child teams, click here), it is possible to activate the team hierarchy.
Once enabled, you can select all child teams automatically by clicking on the mother team. However, if the user only participates in specific teams of the hierarchy, it is also possible to select or deselect them manually.
NOTE 01 - When creating surveys in Elofy, if you choose the "select public" option, you will find the "select hierarchy" button in the team definition section. Once enabled, if there are child teams attached to the selected teams, they will be automatically included in the survey.
NOTE 02 - For temporal surveys, besides the inclusion of the team hierarchy, there is the automatic update for the target audience:
In the ‘Open for all option, all new teams that are subsequently included in the hierarchy of a mother team will be inserted, automatically, in the created survey.
However, if you choose the "select public" option and later remove at least 1 team under a mother team, Elofy will assume that it is no longer necessary to insert new child teams into the related survey (those already in the survey will not be removed).
And that’s it!!
