How to create a standard survey and poll?

In this article, you will find out how to create a standard survey and poll in Elofy.

To start creating your standard survey or poll, it is important to have an available questionnaire. To learn how to create one, click here.

This article is intended for administrators. If you want to understand more about access profiles, click here.

The creation process is the same for both surveys, the only difference is the method of presentation to the collaborators.

Step 01

Go to Surveys > Surveys.

Step 02

In the surveys screen, click on + New Survey.

Step 03

Fill out the fields required for the survey:

  1. Survey name: Enter a name for the survey;

  2. Anonymous: Choose whether the survey will be anonymous or not;

  3. Objective (optional): Describe the survey's objective;

  1. Type: Select the "standard survey" or "poll" type;

  2. Questionnaire: Choose the questionnaire you want to use;

  3. Situation: Select the status as "active";

  4. Start date: Choose the survey activation date;

  5. Start hour and minute: In addition to the date, choose the time the survey will be activated;

  6. End date: Choose the date when the survey ends;

  7. End hour and minute: Choose the time when the survey ends.

Step 04

Specify the target audience for your survey, in other words, whether it is open to the entire company or whether it will be directed at specific users.

If you select the second option, you must enter some information:

  1. Type of professional: You can select whether it will be a manager survey, a contributor survey, or a survey for everyone.

  2. Professional level: You can select the professional level, as established by the company.

  3. Teams: You can select all teams or just some and activate the hierarchy, in other words, the child teams of a father team will also be selected.

  4. Select People: You can choose specific people and teams.

Right below you can see all the people who are selected to participate, and also all the people who are not participating. You can transfer users by clicking Add or Remove.

Step 05

There are a few options related to the standard survey and the poll:

Notifications: You can enable the option to send a reminder email to those who have not responded to the survey and choose the day of sending.

Introduction: You can specify an introduction that will be shown to the user before answering the survey.

Message: You can send an email to the survey audience:

Step 06

To finalize the survey configuration, click Save.

Your default survey will go to the "Pending Items" of each employee's profile. See the example below:

Polls, on the other hand, will be highlighted on each collaborator's homepage. See the example below:

After answering, the blue banner with the questions will leave the My Vision screen.
