In order to start creating the evaluation by initiative, it is crucial that initiatives are created first.

Click here to learn how to create key results initiatives. Or click here, to learn how to create general initiatives.

Don't forget that you can only submit initiatives for evaluation of two types: key results or general (you cannot submit 1:1 or PDI initiatives for evaluation).

Step 01

Go to OKRs > Tasks.

Step 02

In the initiatives screen, filter by tags: OKR and taks.

Step 03

Click on the wanted initiative. Regardless of the type, whether general or key results initiative, the process will be the same.

Step 04

In the side tab that has opened, enable the "performance evaluation" option.

Once you create an initiative, the button next to "Not Available" will turn gray, which indicates that the initiative you have created will not be included in any performance evaluation cycle. By clicking on the button, it will turn pink and the message will change to "Available", which indicates that the initiative will be included in a performance evaluation cycle.

It is important to mention that this setting can only be changed until the first evaluation of that initiative is done within any cycle.

This means that as soon as someone is evaluated in a cycle for the initiative "Review with the financial department the available budget", for example, it can no longer be made available.

Another important aspect is that the initiative end date must be included within the quarters of the review cycle (for example, if the cycle will evaluate the second quarter of the year, the initiative end date must be during April, May, and June) for it to be included in the Performance Evaluation.

And that’s it!!
