This article is intended for administrators, managers and collaborators. The difference between the profiles refers to the level of viewing access: my overview, my team, or company. If you want to understand more about access profiles, read here.
Administrator
Go to: settings > profiles > administrator > surveys tab > feeling. Enable the ‘view and edit’ options for the entire company's users:
Managers
Go to: settings > profiles > manager > surveys tab > feeling.
For managers, we have different viewing options. You can enable the ‘view and edit’ options for subordinates, teams and subordinates, managers and/or accessible teams, as you need. Read the access profiles article to understand the difference between them.
Employees
Go to: settings > profiles > collaborator > surveys tab > feeling.
Only select the ‘view’ and ‘edit’ options, then collaborators will have access to the answers page, but will only be able to see their own answers.
Or leave all options blank. In this way, employees will only be able to respond to the thermometer on the home page and will not have access to the analytics page.
Simplicity is a highlight of this survey type. The greatest benefit is the mapping of the sentiments of your company's employees with more agility.
The main insights of the Survey are:
The clarity of the sentiments highlighted
The short time spent completing the survey
The simple data compilation
See how it works in the step-by-step guide below.
Step 01
To answer the survey, go to My Overview and at the top of the screen you will see the sentiment thermometer highlighted, if you want to send an anonymous answer just click the button at the top:
NOTE: This is a daily survey and you can only answer once each day.
Step 02
All you have to do is click on the emoji that describes your feeling and it will open up the possibility to talk more about it, to finish just click send and the pendency will disappear:
Meaning of each emoji:
😡 Angry
😞 Sad
😑 Neutral
😊 Happy
😃 Radiant
You can describe in the text box why you selected that sentiment.
Also, you can choose in the command box which scopes your thermometer is linked to.
The option to make your survey anonymous is in pink in the box above the submit command.
Step 03
To access the survey just access at the top of the screen the Menu survey and click Feeling. It is important to remember that access to the search results is configurable and we can parameterize it so that only administrators and managers have access:
When you access the screen, you will have a few view options:
Such views allow you to:
You can filter by individual view, the view of the team to which you are assigned, and the view of the entire company.
You can select the desired period, seeing only the responses collected in the chosen window.
The feeling of the period presents the overall average of how the sentiment of the viewed group (individual, team or company) is in the period.
The Company distribution the proportion of the percentages of each thermometer emoji selected by users, in the chosen period (note: the distribution does not take into account anonymous responses).
The answer rate divides the number of potential respondents by the number of filtered days.
The number of feelings indicates the total number of responses made, within the chosen period.
Once you have defined the desired group view (individual, team or company) and the analysis period, the thermometer chart will be presented with the following information:
The distribution of responses by thermometer sentiment type;
The total number of respondents within the category, in the case above, in the ‘others’ option of the thermometer, the total number of responses was 16 people.
NOTE - You can view the sentiment by team, by area of life (topic), and by person (this last filter does not appear for the individual view).
Finally, the screen displays a list of the individual responses of the collaborators.
And that’s it!!
