How to link OKRs to drivers?

In this article, you will learn how to link objectives and key results to a company driver.

This article is intended for admin users. For manager users and collaborating users, viewing the drivers will only be possible if the company has given permission in the access profile. Therefore, contact the person responsible for managing Elofy to understand if you have the following activation.

Drivers are global objectives created by the company to guide the strategy for the year or another given period.

Thus, it is important to create OKRs that are related to business-wide planning, in order to contribute to the achievement of the company’s main objectives.

In this article, you will learn how to link an objective or key result to a driver.

How to link an objective to a driver?

Step 01

Go to the Strategy > Strategy.

Step 02

There are several ways to link OKRs and contracts to drivers.

  • When creating the OKR or goals contract

  • Within the driver, you can link objectives or contracts

  • On the objective details screen, you can link the driver

  • On the goal or key result details screen, you can also link a driver

  • It is just not possible to link drivers on the goal contract details screen

NOTE - Remember that to link a KR/goal to a driver, the "link goals" option must be active within the driver. This can be done in the driver's data sidebar, to learn more read here.

Step 03

On the side tab, click on the top three dots to access the details screen.

➡️ When creating the OKR or goal contract

For these cases, we recommend the following articles:

➡️ Inside the director itself

a) On the drivers screen, click on the desired driver and access the aligned tab.

In the aligned tab, you can only link objectives to the driver.

b) But by accessing the driver details screen, you can link contracts in addition to objectives. Click on "link objectives" and the active objectives and contracts for the period will be displayed:

➡️ Inside the goals screen

You can also link a driver on the objective details screen:

a) Access the objective details screen:

b) In the list of linked objectives, click on "link objective above":

c) Now select the desired driver and click on save:

➡️ Inside the key results / goals screen

Whether on the key result or goal details screen, the linking logic is the same.

a) First, you can link directly in the details sidebar, in the general data tab:

b) Second, accessing the details screen, through the side data tab, the same option is presented:
