How to Use the Hierarchical View of OKRs and Goals Contracts
Updated over a year ago

The hierarchical view will help you to visualize, in an easier and more practical way, the existing alignments in your company's drivers and OKRs, as well as the relationship of users in the target contracts.

Step 01

Go Strategy > Strategy.

Step 02

On the desired query screen, access the hierarchical view icon. It can be used for visualization:

  • Of the company's directors with objectives linked below and, if any, key results;

  • Of the objectives with the key results linked below;

  • And, finally, the contracts of goals with the relationship of users.

Step 03

Let's look at the hierarchical view for drivers/OKRs and goal contracts.

➡️ Drivers / OKRs

*The view of drivers and OKRs is similar, so let's present a case with OKRs.

On the hierarchical view screen, you can view the objectives, according to the relationship between them.

  1. Number of objectives below. By clicking on the arrow, you open the list of linked objectives;

  2. Responsible for the objective;

  3. Objective name;

  4. Whether it is a strategic objective or not;

  5. Objective type: individual, team or shared;

  6. Goal progress ruler;

  7. Number of linked key results. Clicking on the arrow opens the list of linked KRs:

    For the key result, you can access: the name, starting point, target, current, weight, last measurement date, KR type (higher best, lower best or action plan) and progress ruler.

By clicking on the objective or key result, you have access to the details sidebar to see more information and even take measurements.

➡️ Goal Contract

As for the goals contract, the listing does not look at alignments, as in the case of drivers and OKRs, but rather at the user registration: who is the Manager and what is the structure of the subordinates.

This is how the view is presented according to user levels:

  1. Number of subordinates of the manager user. By clicking on the arrow, you can open the list of users;

  2. Team that the user is part of;

  3. Ruler of progress of the individual contract;

  4. Number of targets linked to the contract. By clicking on the arrow, you can open the list of goals:

    For the goal, you can access: the name, main data for monitoring, weighted grade, date of the last measurement, type of goal (greater better or smaller better) and progress ruler.

It is important to note that for users without a registered target contract, the information "has not registered a target contract" will be displayed, as shown in the image below:

In this case, by clicking on the "+" sign, you will be redirected to the goal contract creation screen.
