Only users with an administrator profile can set up the company's 9box page, to learn more about it click here.
9Box is a method for evaluating the performance of the company's employees. It is a tool that can help you analyze the difference between current performance, after evaluation, and the expected result for employees, according to what was planned.
The 9Box is easy to apply and shows which professionals need actions in order to improve themselves or to be able to reach other positions in the company.
In order to make your search easier, we have divided this article into three sections. Just click on one of the options below to go straight to what you want to read:

You can use the following template to describe each quadrant and adapt it to the size of your 9box.
Description: Description: Insert a description so that people understand what needs to be done with the employees according to the quadrant they are in (ex: quadrant 1 (insufficient: Evaluate, Move or Dismiss. Consequence Management: Performance Improvement Plan).
Color: You can choose the color of each quadrant.
Step 05
After setting up all quadrants, save your 9box.
How to define the 9box axes and limits?
Axes
The 9box is composed of two axes: X (horizontal) and Y (vertical), as shown in the picture of step 04 in the previous section.
These axes can be defined in the cycle configuration or by opening parameterization cards (they are opened by our CS team, please contact us for further information).
In order to know how to define them in the platform, follow the steps below:
Step 01
Access the Career > Cycle Reviews.
Step 02
Click on + cycle.
Step 03
When defining the stages of the cycle (results, competence, potential, values, and
feedback), you can choose two stages to be included in the Nbox axes, based on the
employee's results in the performance evaluation.
Example: results on X and competencies on Y.
If you want to know more about cycle configuration, click here.
NOTE - An axis may have more than one stage for its calculation, for example: if you want, you can open a parameterization so that the competencies stage is responsible for 50% of the grade of the x-axis and the results stage is responsible for the other 50%.
Limits
The limits of each quadrant on the axes, in other words, the minimum and maximum values of the evaluation scores that will be considered for employees to be distributed in the 9box, are defined only by parameterization.
Therefore, before setting up your cycle, contact our CS team so that they can help you set up your 9box.
And that's it!
