Once the Objectives and Key Results have been created, you must perform the measurement to update the progress of the objectives.

There are two different methods for checking in a key result, therefore we have divided this article into two sections. Click on one of the options below to go straight to what you want to read:

Check-in via the key result sidebar

Step 01

Go to OKRs > OKRs.

Step 02

In the OKRs screen, select the wanted key result. You can enable the option "KR Only key results", which will simplify the search.

Step 03

When you click on the wanted key result, the details sidebar will open on the right side of the screen. In the sidebar, the check-in is performed on the second tab.

In the sidebar, you will find some important data that will guide you when checking-in:

  1. The upper bar represents the key result progress.

  2. The first quadrant represents the key result's starting point, in other words, where it needs to start from to reach the objective.

NOTE - You can change the key result's starting point using this quadrant.

  3. The second quadrant displays the objective, in other words, the key result's final result.

NOTE - You can change the key result's objective using this quadrant.

  4. The third quadrant displays the current, in other words, the value of the last measurement performed within the key result.

  5. The last quadrant displays the key result weight within the related objective.

You can change the key result weight using this quadrant.

  6. The chart quickly shows you how the key result's progress is relative to the projected objective. It will make it easier to check-in through the sidebar.
