Once you have created your key results, you must take measurements so that you can follow the progress of your objectives.

Check out the instructions below on how to make initiative measurements.

Step 01

Go to the OKRs menu.

Step 02

In the OKRs screen, you will be able to access the initiatives using two methods: the objectives detail screen and the key results detail screen.

Access through the objectives screen

1 - Choose the wanted objective and click on it to open the sidebar.

2 - In the sidebar, click on the three dots located in the upper right corner of the screen, to go to the objective's details screen.

3 - On the details screen, locate the initiatives list and click on the wanted initiative.

Access through the key results screen

1 - On the OKRs screen, locate the wanted key result and click on it to open the sidebar.

2 - In the sidebar, there are two different methods of accessing the initiative:

a) through the "tasks" tab

b) through the key result details screen: click on the three dots located in the upper right corner of the screen to go to the key result details screen.

In the key result screen, locate the wanted initiative.

Step 03

Regardless of how you accessed the initiatives, whether from the objectives screen or the key results screen, the measurement process will happen the same way.

There are two types of measurement for initiatives: automatic and manual.

Automatic - The automatic measurement is the completion of the initiative, in other words, it will only have two states: 0% for not completed and 100% for completed.

In the initiative, click the check icon to select it as completed.

Manual - Manual measurement is the follow-up of the initiative's progress, through a progress bar.

To access the measurement bar, click the initiative's edit pencil.

On the initiative screen, drag the percentage bar based on the progress made, and then click save.

NOTE - If the measurement happens from the initiatives tab of the key result sidebar, the process has the following difference:

1 - In the initiatives tab, if the progress is automatic, just select the "checkbox" of the initiative as completed.

2. If the progress is manual, locate the wanted initiative and click on the three dots located on the right side of the screen, and then click "access".

In the initiative, move the progress bar as you want.

Measuring initiatives through the initiatives screen
