Once a performance evaluation has been carried out, you will be able to keep track of the evaluated people's scores, in addition to calibrating the averages, if needed.

The calibration of the performance evaluation has the purpose of promoting more equal treatment among professionals, contributing to legitimizing future decisions.

We have divided this article into three sections, click on one of the options below to go straight to what you want to read:

How to view and use the features of the results and calibration screen?

Step 01

Go to Career > Results and Calibration.

Step 02

Apply filters to improve your view and determine what information will be shown.

Step 03

In addition to the filters, you can also apply three other types of visualizations:

  1. General data: You can specify which columns you want to see in the results and calibration analysis.

    • Do not including managers: The results of manager users are not shown.

    • Complementary information: evaluating manager, team, position, company time, and employee status.

    • Remuneration: Current Percentage and Recommended Percentage. The recommended percentage depends on the parameterization made for the 9box, to learn more about it, click here. Example:

    • Historic: last evaluation score;

    • 9box: the quadrant the employee is placed in.

  2. Steps: it refers to the evaluation stages (behavioral competencies, competencies, results, potential and qualitative).

    • The behavioral competency stage is the values stage, and the qualitative stage is the feedback.

    • The qualitative stage will not show scores if the questions are open. Therefore, it will only show any data if a ruler was used.

  3. Extent: it refers to the type of evaluation performed (self-assessment, manager, clients, peers, and teams).

NOTE - The implementation of ‘stages and extent’ is necessarily cumulative, in other words, you must choose one option of each for it to work. In this way, you will be able to see the overall score for each stage, attributed by the employee, manager, team, peers, or clients.

Step 04

In the results and calibration screen, you will also see the review cycle, the final result for each user, as well as the calibration, pdf and graphs section.

How to calibrate the evaluated people’s scores?

Attention - The calibration is available only for the grades given by the Managers.

Step 01

If the evaluation is ready for calibration, a blue "tool" icon will appear next to the user's name. Click on it to go to the calibration screen.

Step 02

On the new screen, calibrate the scores as you want:

  1. Legend: To calibrate the score for each question in the evaluation stages, notice the legend provided. In this case, it is the "IV, IR, SR, MB and E" terms that you will use in the calibration.

  2. Manager: when the evaluated has been evaluated by more than one manager, choose your evaluation.

  3. Scores: Next to the calibrate box, you will see the scores that were recorded in the evaluation in each step, by each person in charge, based on the cycle settings.

  4. Comments: By clicking on the comment icon, you are able to see what was recorded during the evaluation, in addition to recording new comments.

  5. Calibration: To calibrate each question, click on the " Calibrate" box and it will open the options for you to choose.

NOTE: The calibration will be done in concepts if the cycle has been configured to be an evaluation by concepts. Otherwise, in the ‘Calibrate’ column there will be a blank field to type a new score (in numbers).

  6. Average: As calibrations are performed for each question, the final average for that stage of the evaluation will be displayed at the end.

  7. Save: At the end of each calibration stage, click on save, before proceeding to the next stage.

Other Methods of Calibration.

Individual calibration of each stage on the results and calibration screen.

Step 01

On the results and calibration screen, choose the steps you want to calibrate, in addition to the evaluation extent.

Step 02

In the evaluation results table, see which stages can be calibrated and click on the ‘Blue tool’ icon. By clicking on the icon, a side screen will open so you can calibrate it.

Calibrate the scores as instructed in the previous section, and then click ‘Save calibration’.

One-step calibration in the results and calibration screen

Step 01

In the results and calibration screen, you can decide to perform the calibration for the final concept only, instead of calibrating each stage individually.

Drag the bar on the screen to the bottom to see the calibration field.

Step 02

At the end of the table, you will find the "final concept" field. There, you can set only the new concept of user evaluation. Choose the new option and the calibration will be completed.

Calibrating via the 9box screen

Also, you can calibrate the evaluated people’s scores via the 9box screen, if you have access permission (administrator profile > career tab > view and edit for the company in 9box), setting the new quadrant that the employee will be placed in. To learn more about it, click here.

Calibration via the Career Screen

On the career screen, you can also access the evaluated people’s scores calibration screen, if you have access permission (administrator profile > career tab > view and edit for the company in career).

Hover over the user line and click on ‘Consensus’ to access the calibration screen.

If you want, you can export the evaluation results in Excel - CSV. In the query screen, click on ‘Export’.

About Results and calibration, it is important to be aware:

  • The employee's score will only be displayed at the time a final score is calculated. If only one phase or one evaluator that does not count for the final average is finished, there will not be a line for this employee.

  • The employee will not be able to see their own grade on this tab, since they could perform the calibration. For the administrator to view their own grade, for example, their manager has to release it.

And that’s it!!
