The Succession Plan is a method of planning and mapping the existing talents in the company, placing them on a kind of ladder of potential, aiming to develop professionals in certain areas so that, in the future, they can replace important positions. Without it, the company's performance can decline dramatically when leaders start to change and employees are leaving.

Therefore, this is an essential tool for the future of the company, preventing the exodus of key employees and ensuring good talent in the right positions!

See below how to define the positions eligible for succession.

Step 01

Go to Settings > Positions.

Step 02

In order to be eligible for succession, a position's difficulty and impact must be: one medium and one high (examples: medium difficulty and high impact, or high difficulty and medium impact).

  • Difficulty - The difficulty of finding a person to hold that position;

  • Impact - The impact that the position has on your business, in other words, how important it is.

This definition can be done in two different ways:

(a) when creating the position:

To learn more about position creation, click here.

b) in an existing position:

On the positions screen, click on the intended position.

On the new screen that will open, change the impact and difficulty levels. When you do this, a new tab will be displayed with the name "succession", showing your company's readiness levels for inserting employees.

And that’s it!!
