How to use the Objective Detail Screen?

In this article, you will learn how to use the features of the objective details screen.

Step 01

Go to OKRs > OKRs.

Step 02

In the OKRs screen, filter by the wanted objective. You can search by name or use the view filters.

Step 03

Once you have located your objective, click on it to open the sidebar.

Step 04

In the sidebar, you will find information about the objective that you can edit:

1 - Name: You can change the name of the objective.

2 - Description: You can edit the description of the objective.

3 - Objective approval workflow to be submitted to the Manager (this option will only be available if the company has enabled this feature)

4 - Responsible and Co-responsible person: If you want, edite the responsible or add co-responsible persons - you can only edit them if they have not yet been evaluated in the cycle corresponding to the objective.

5 - Priority: You can set an objective as strategic for the company.

NOTE: If the responsible party has not yet been evaluated in the cycle corresponding to the objective, you can edit this field.

6 - Type: If you want, you can change the type to the shared or team type.

7 - Team: You can define another team to which the objective will be allocated.

8 - Sentiment on whether or not the objective will be accomplished: it won't be reached, almost there or it will reach.

9 - Period in which the objective was created (not editable).

10 - Cycle: Change the cycle quarters that the objective is part of.

11 - Tags: If you want, add tags, in other words, hashtags to group your objective with others.

12 - Weight: Objective weight that can be affected by the weight scale defined by the company (editable).

13 - Objective status (editable, if the company chooses the manual status option and not editable, if the company has set the automatic status).

14 - Active or disable: Inactivation or reactivation of the objective in the platform.

Following the general information tab, you will find the timeline tab, where you will see the history of the objective's updates, as well as where you can enter comments with text options.

Step 05

In order to access the objective's detail screen, click on access objective in the upper right corner of the sidebar.

At the top of the screen, you will find: the objective's name, the overall progress, the number of check-ins performed within the key results that are linked to the objective, and the number of completed and pending initiatives that are part of these key results.

In this section, you can also access the organizational chart of the objective, or generate the PDF of the objective and its key results.

Key results list

Just below, you will find the list of key results that are linked to the objective. In this list, there are some features available:

1. Additional columns: these are columns that you can add to the table to see key result data.

2. Add a new key result or a company indicator: You can create a key result directly on the objective screen or import a company indicator.

3. Access or Remove Key Result: You can go to the detail screen of the key result or remove it from the objective.

Next, the initiatives of the key results linked to the objective are gathered. In this list, there are also some features available:

1. Additional columns: Columns you can add to the table to see the initiatives’ data.

2. Add tasks: you can create initiatives linked to a key result, directly on the objective screen.

3. Access the key result, edit or remove the initiative: you can access the key result's detail screen, edit or remove the initiative from the objective screen.

4. Select the initiative as done from the objective screen.

Finally, on the main screen, you can see the drivers/objectives to which the objective is linked, or link new objectives above and below.

On the objective side screen, you can see the general data and timeline shown in the sidebar in step 04 of this article.
