How to use the 9box features?

In this article, you will learn how to use the 9box features in Elofy.

Updated over a week ago

After employees answer a Performance Evaluation, the 9box will be built from the results of the two steps defined as axes.

NOTE - This article is intended for managers and administrators who have the required access profile in Elofy. If you want to learn more about access profiles, click here.

To view the entire company, the administrator profile is recommended. With it, you will be able to use the 9box features with all users.

Go to Profiles > Administrator > Career > 9box. On the screen, select the "view and edit" options for the entire company to be able to use the features.

If your company allows managers to view the employees' 9box, set up the manager access profile.

Go to Profiles > Manager > Career > 9box. On the screen, select the "view or/and edit" options, according to the visualization needed (teams and employees, employees and/or accessible teams), to be able to use the features.

Remember that if the "teams and team members" option is enabled, the Manager will be able to see the data of all team users (team linked to the registration), in addition to accessing the information of the direct employees (employees with the user as manager in the registration), even if they are linked to other teams.

Check below how to access and use it.

Step 01

Access the career > 9box.

Step 02

On the 9box screen, select the evaluation cycle you want. Other filters can also be applied and all are cumulative.

Step 03

You can also choose to view the 9box with calibrated or uncalibrated grades. If you want to know more about calibration in 9box, click here.

  • Enabled ‘pink’: you will see the 9box without calibrations;

  • Disabled ‘gray’: you will see the 9box with calibrations.

Step 04

Once filtered, you will have access to the 9box which will provide the following information:

  • Percentage of the employees' participation in the quadrant, equal to 9box in total;

  • Number of employees distributed in the quadrants;

  • Updates that have been made: employees who entered or left the quadrant.

Step 05

By clicking on any of the quadrants, a side screen will open, where you can see more information:

  1. Name of the selected quadrant.

  2. Description of the quadrant.

  3. Employees who are in or have left the quadrant.

    • Green symbol under "in the box now": next to the employee’s name, when the ‘green’ symbol appears, it means that they came from another quadrant:

    • Red symbol in ‘left this box’: next to the employee's name, when the "red" symbol appears, it means that they left this quadrant and went to another one:

Step 06

Once you click on an employee's name, a new tab will open with more information about the user: evaluation scores, calibration, data and resume, succession positions, and the latest updates.

Step 07

On the 9box screen, you can see a curve graph that shows how many users are in each quadrant, according to the filtered cycle.

And that's it!
